Keith is an NHLPA Certified Player Agent and Executive Vice President for the leading athlete management firm in the United States, Gold Star Sports Management, located in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Gold Star Sports Management Group is a division of Gold Star, a family of companies specializing in exclusive representation and high personalize representation. 

Keith attended and played hockey at Hutchinson High School and went onto earn a Bachelor of Science degree in Sports Management from the University of Minnesota, and also served as a coaching staff assistant for the Minnesota Wild preparing him for his career ahead.

In 2005 McKittrick was appointed as Director of Hockey Operations at Michigan State. From 2005-2008, MSU won the NCAA National Championship in 2007 and he was responsible for video breakdowns of individual player and team performances, managing the annual travel and operating budgets, and engaging in recruiting experiences. During his time at MSU, McKittrick was selected by Team USA for various IIHF events including the 2007 World Junior Championship in Leksand, Sweden and 2006 Five Nations Tournament.

McKittrick was hired by the Detroit Red Wings in 2008 as an Assistant Coach to Mike Babcock. McKittrick was an integral piece of the Red Wings coaching staff both on and off the ice, on ice player development , video pre scouts, individual / team video review. During Keith's 6 years with the Red Wings the team advanced to the Stanley Cup Playoffs each of the 6 seasons, including an appearance in the 2009 Stanley Cup Finals and setting an NHL record of 20 consecutive playoff appearances.

During Keith’s time as a NHL Player Agent Keith has used his skills sets from his team experiences and brought them to the agent world. Keith excels in player development and preparing players for the NHL draft and signing NHL contracts.
